The Palms Bed and Breakfast 'exclusive Gay and Lesbian accomodation' is now open and ready for business. Your host Trevor would like to welcome you to enjoy your stay in his 1950's style home or the newly renovated train carriage split into two sections "Bruce's Caboose" and "Cody's Carriage". Situated in the convenient suburb of South Townsville, the Palms BnB is only a 15min walk from the main restaurant strip of Palmer St and only a 5min taxi ride to the Jupiter's Casino.

There are so many things to see and do in Townsville, with its sub-tropical climate and approximatley 300 days of sunshine every year.

The world acclaimed 'Strand', one of the most vibrant city beach promenades in the world, its great place for a walk, bike ride or a roller blade. After a walk along the strand call in and enjoy Reef HQ. You can see the largest living coral reef aquarium in the world.

For a great day trip there is Magnetic Island, or 'Maggie' as it is called, the pride and joy of Townsville locals. There is so much to do on the island and you can see it either by bus, mini moke, mopeds or push bikes. Ask about our holiday accomodation also available here.

Billabong Sanctuary is a place to go, in one visit you can go through a wetlands, tropical billabong and a rainforest. With over 300 species of animals it is a full day visit.

If you like the Arts and Craft people are well catered for in this department with the Museum of Tropical Queensland open 7 days a weeks. The Cotters Markets are on every Sunday in the city mall where you can buy all your local arts and crafts from this very eventful morning.

Other things to do around Townsville are the Defence Centre at the RAAF base, a day trip to Charters Towers or Paluma in the ranges of Townsville.
